:sun:Hello Experts! =)

I recently read about illegal lenders and the steps to take to deal with them. I sent letter to 2 of my illegal lenders who I have overpaid the principal on. The first gentle breeze online (tribal) has yet to reply at all, and the second Bayside cash, replied with a letter full of bologna stating I had to follow laws of Belize and that they would pursue their debt by any means necessary etc... I sent another letter to bayside with a more serious tone including my state laws and revoked their rights to my bank accts. and stated I would report them and also pursue them more aggressively. Both the letters I sent were templates I found on this site. Since I sent the second letter I havent heard anything from Bayside. I was just curious if I should push the issue of a refund of my over payment or let it go. has anyone else delt with these 2 lenders and what were your results? any advice would be greatly appreciated... Thankyou!

The offshore lender will almost NEVER issue a refund. I haven't heard of a case of an offshore lender ever issuing a refund.

Tribal lenders are a hit and miss. For example, plain green loans does issue refunds over principle but great plains doesn't. It all depends on how hard you push them, how many emails you send to their inbox, how many times you call them demadning it, etc. I would pursue the tribal for a refund if I were you but forget about the offshore lender (belize one)

I can't say anything about Bayside. I have worked with United Cash Loans. Like Bayside, they are also illegal in the country. I did overpay them. I sent 2-3 letters to them regarding the refund issue. United Cash sent me a refund after 2-3 months.

Push the issue of a refund. Don't let it go. Why should you? It is your hard earned money after all. I just hope you succeed. All the best. :)
