Are CMG Group LLC licensed lenders. I found a CMG group LLC address in Nevada, is this correct?

They put $300.00 in my account that I did not authorize and they have taken out $180.00.

I filed a complaint with my Attorney General in PA and also the AG in Nevada.

Does anyone have anymore info on them??

I did a search on the google box and found these threads on CMG Group.

http://www.debtconsolidationcare.com/paydayloan/cmggroup-westburyventures.html

Go to your bank and explain to the supervisor that you never authorized CMG Group to debit money from your account. After you have filed the dispute papers, they will verify the details with CMG and get your money back

I am having the same problem. They put $200 in my account and have so far taken out two payments of $60. I have no problem paying back a loan but I didn't receive any emails of when they were taking payments out and how much. What did the AG for Pennsylvania say? Please contact me at email address removed as per forum rules - Mike. I look forward to hearing from you.

I recently tried to get CMG Group payday loans online, and of course to even get a quote on how much they can give you, you have to put in all your info. I finally decided not to do one, cuz they couldn't give me the amount I needed. But somehow today my bank account has $300 from the CMG group. I dont have any contact info for this company, I dont even remember seeing this company name anywhere, so it must have been under some other payday loan site. I never signed anything or got a promissary note. It worries me though that all those online companies make you give your account info and all that stuff before you even agree to anything. I dont know what to do about all this. How do I contact them to clear this up?

I took out $200 CMG Group loans from CMG in January. I never got anything in writing stating how much they would be taking out or for how long. They ended up taking $60 out of my account 6 times. I finally had to go to my bank and stop the withdrawals. Then they started calling me at work, leaving messages for "me or my attorney" to call them back. The caller always had a gruff voice, like they were trying to intiidate me. Finally they turned me over to National Credit Adjusters. They are just as bad. They still call me every day, and at one point they were even calling my friend. I must have listed her as a reference. They told her I had written a bad check to someone. I still have never gotten anything in writing.

I filed a complaint on CMG with the Iowa Attorney General's Office and also the FTC. National Credit Adjusters reported me to the credit bureau saying I owed $320. So that means they think I am going to pay back $680 for a $200 loan. Seems a little steep to me. It is illegal to charge that much interest.

Go to your attorney generals website and file a complaint. I know the guy from my AG's office was working on it because he left me a message at work.

Doesn't this just make you want to scream!!

If you all read the contract, you would have seen that this is the way they work. They keep taking the finance charge only until you tell them to start taking the principal. I took the CMG Group LLC payday loans with full knowledge of the terms and I'm quite satisfied.

Did you read any of the above posts? No one agreed to this money being placed into their account much less got a loan document with the terms.

They applied but never confirmed the CMG Group loans. This is how the illegal companies operate. Not only do you have no documents but no way to reach them to pay off the loan.

I read all of the posts. I stand by what I said. Most people only read bits and pieces of contracts or any printed material for that matter. They probably signed it electronically without even knowing they were doing so. This company does all of its business over the internet and with electronic funds transfers. You do NOT get any actual paperwork sent to you although you get an E-mail with a file attachment of the ELECTRONICALLY signed documents. I have had no problems with the company and they are very easy to reach and very pleasant to talk to. Their number is 1-866-516-9300. They are there M-F 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM CST. Before you accuse me of being a company stooge, I just want to clarify that I am in no way, shape, or form employed by CMG. I just don't like to see false or misleading accusations directed against what seems to be an honest business providing a needed service. If you don't like the terms, don't borrow from them and make sure you read everything very carefully before you sign. They don't hide anything.

I have been getting calls from ACR for CMG. I am in dispute with CMG because I didn't agree to any loan with them. Now I have this collection agency calling me non stop. I have talked to 3 different people. Letting them know what the situation was, that I had taken out a online pdl with another company which I got funds from and then CMG (a different company) deposited $300 in my account in Oct.or Nov 08. I didnt notice Jan 09, I dont look at my statements enough (bad I know but I dont) I called CMG and they told me I took out the loan the documentation they sent me was an application only. I disputed 4 withdrawls from CMG with my bank. Now ACR is telling me I have to send them bank statments and fill out a police report and all this other stuff. Should I do what they are asking or should I send a C&D letter because they are telling me this in on my credit report and it is up to me to get it straightened out. Not to mention they keep saying CMG contacted me about this loan and they have not. I never received a call stating I was approved, denied or anything. I don't think I should have to give them any info regarding me bank that scares me even more than what they have already done. Can anyone tell me if CMG has a license in Oklahoma to begin with. I have paid them $360 on a $300 loan and they say I still owe $480 or something like that. Any suggestions anyone has will be greatly apprecaited!

Thanks

I GOT A CALL FROM CMG AND THE GIRL ASKED ME IF I HAD A SAVINGS OR CHECKING ACCOUNT I TOLD HER SAVINGS AND SHE SAID SORRY BUT YOU HAVE TO HAVE A CHECKING ACCOUNT TO QUALIFY FOR THE LOAN AND FOUR DAYS LATER I WAS PAYING BILLS AND I HAD AN EXTRA $200 IN MY ACCOUNT FROM CMG. SO IF I DIDN'T QUALIFY AFTER I FILL OUT THE ONLINE FORMS AND GOT A CALL FROM A REP OF THEIRS STATING I DIDN'T QUALIFY AND THERE IS NO PAPERWORK ON THIS LOAN OR AN EMAIL STATING I GOT THE LOAN OR ANY TERMS OF A LOAN NO INFO AT ALL LIKE A PHONE NUMBER OR AN ADDRESS TO CONTACT THEM TO CANCELL THE LOAN OR TO AGREE TO THE LOAN. TELL ME HOW IS THIS FAIR TO PEOPLE IN NEED? THIS IS A RIP OFF.

Tell me something then...why is it that all these internet groups might be in Kansas or Nevada or the West Indies or the Bahamas...but the bank they use is in Florida? My bank traced them and investigated them, and they use one bank in Florida. Interesting...

These stooges don't hide anything? Try this one. I was looking for a lender online and went through one of those third party sites. Long story short I got an actual cash advance, from a LEGITIMATE company, who took the time to contact me and get my approval for the contract.

Next day I check my account and find that these bozos put money in as well. They did not contact me, whether via email or phone, for approval. I was sent no contract, again paper or electronic, detailing the terms. Hell, the only way most of the people I've found have been able to contact them is to look at the phone # that's provided after the first debit is taken.

I have spoken to 3 different "customer support" people that were ruder than hell. They provide you with no website or email to contact and seem to be total wraiths as noone can seem to provide a physical location for them as well. When I asked them to provide a contract, whether verbal or electronic, signed by me, they couldn't do it.

In fact, in my 2 weeks of looking up posts on these clowns, you are the ONLY person that has had anything good to say about them. Now, I'm not saying your wrong, but neither are the couple of hundred posts I've read about them.

I Know for a FACT that I didn't sign anything electronically because I only applied to ONE company. The amount that the company I ACTUALLY spoke with was deposited into my account, but it wasn't from them. It was from CMG. I NEVER sent anything to CMG, nor did they ever give me a quote. I would have known if I agreed to a LOAN or not whether it was electronically or over the phone. That's BOGUS!!!

Below is a contact information for someone at the CMG Group. I am hurt and frustrated as well. I too did not authorize this $300 transaction. I am trying to fight it and will succeed. Please know that there are interest rate caps that loan companies can charge by state. Unless the are in Missouri then you can hit the lender with that.
It is wrong how they take advantage of people like this.

I fell into the same trap. they called me twice to ask if I wanted the money and both time I said no. I'm not one that checks her bank statement, today I'm out of $2340.00 on a $300.00 deposit I did not authorize. I'm now closing my back account. The bank said try to work out something with them, if I can't they will work on it, but I probably will not get all my money back.

You have to pay back your full amount of loan otherwise they will continue to pull from your account, they money they take from your account does not go back to the money you borrowed, my advice is you pay back in full whatever they are asking otherwise they will continue to pull at leat 60 from your account.........ex. i took a loan for 200 out, i noticed that for 2 pay periods a $60 payment was being taken out of my account, i called them and they told me that i had to pay $260 on my next payment to end the withdraws from my account

Now CMG calls my jobs, friends and family tell them lies and telling me to make sure my tags are up to date because the filed a warrant for my arrest, this is crazy can some one help me or tell me something to get these people off my back I have tried to be patient with them but they keep saying that I have recieved Fedreal money and they going to report me to irs for not reporting my earnings. What kind of people are they please help.............................................

file AG complaints as well as have all people contacted by them to file police reports for harrassment.CMG isn't based in the US so they are illegal.also have those called to hang up on them if they call.everything they say is a lie as they are illegal, and have to resort to this.also contact your BK trustee.if they were included in your petition.they cannot do what they are doing.

I agree with infinity - I have just become a victim myself of CMG. I didn't ask, talk, call or inquire about this company and they just put 250.00 in my account and now a 200.00 withdrawal has been made from my account from Chase right after that deposit from CMG. I haven't figured out the scam yet, but I will and I am filing with the Texas Attorney General today on them!

My wife took a "loan" for 250. They have take 120 every month for 6 months! They won't stop. I'm going to have to close the account and open one in another bank. Maybe the fact they are in the West Indies indicates why they can do this. And my wife did it on our joint account and I didn't even know. So they are reputable and should be shut down and forced to pay reparations. But somehow I figure they are well backed.

CMG Group LLC are absolutely ridiculous to deal with as payday lenders. When you go on line and apply this goes to several lenders. Supposedly CMG contacts you by phone and sends email regarding loan to verify any signatures. This does not happen. Just now after seeing other individuals problems with this company I called a number someone had listed, and spoke to the nastiest customer service rep you can imagine. The only way I new a payday loan happened with this company is the amt was out of checking act and it listed this name as whom it was paid to. Any other time I have dealt with payday lenders I have received contract first thru email and new how much it would cost me. This did not happen with this company. Now I know, and what contract they forwarded me is with the most ridiculous terms. So BEWARE. With this company you can pay forever and never paydown unless you contact them in writing 3 days prior to when pymt would come out of act. Again NEVER dealt with any other company that works this way. I had no paperwork from them until I just asked so at least now I know what to do to pay off this ridiculous loan.

The same thing just happened to me, 200 bucks deposited in my account and I have dealt with online loan companies before. You are supposed to get documents stating the terms and then you electronically sign, agreeing to the terms. I NEVER recieved anything from them, no documents, no email, just money that I do not want. I called the company and they say they have no record of me, I am now worried they will start taking money out, on the phone with my bank right now, we shall see what happens.

yes, here is what i have found, they are a ligit company, however if you borrow say $200 for example, you will have to pay back $260.00 the next payday. however the catch is if you don't noitify them at least 3 days before the payday they will automatically renew your loan for another $60.00. So essentially you are paying $120.00 a month to keep the original $200.00 loan. They do however email you a form that is already pre-printed ahead of time. just print is out and fax it to them. this tells them that you want the entire payment of $260.00 taken out next payday. i have 2 numbers for them. fax @ 866-516-9300 and phone 866-516-9300. the same thing happened to me, but once i looked back through my emails, i saw the form they sent me. so really it was my own fault...

good luck, and happy new year
