All the lenders mentioned on the list are illegal in Florida. The last one on the list, PDLnow is not an actual lender. They are a loan matching service so you basically need to find out who the real lender is.

Where did you find out this information? See, I am trying to work out settlements with them, but I have already paid some fees. Therefore, I want settlement not to reflect any inflated fees, especially if the lenders are illegal in Florida.
I am working with It's my payday loan right now, as we speak. I think the settlement should be lower since I have already paid them $225. They want to still add in about $130 in fees on top of what I owe. If I have some proof they are illegal, this will give me more bargaining power to say that I know they are illegal "as per____." and that I will negotiate a settlement for the balance on what I owe. I have every intention of paying back what I owe. I got a call from one of their "lawyers" and he was nice, but I got a sense that I still was being taken to the cleaners on the settlement. I have paid yet and I am to talk again with him tomorrow,. He says the company is NOT allowed to MAIL anything which for me is holding up the process because I want things in writing before I give money out.
Can you tell me an easy way to find out that these lenders are illegal in Florida?
Thanks

They are all illegal in Florida. Find out what amount you originally borrowed for each, then find out what you've paid to each. If it was, say, a 300 dollar loan and you've paid 130 in refinance fees, you only owe 170 back
payday
I read all the previous posts on dealing with illegal payday loan companies. That is what I plan to do. However, working with them on this is not that easy. I spoke to one who is trying to get service fees and refusing to use the mail. Now, if I insist on only paying back what I took and insist on communication through mail, if they don't respond, can I be sued by them if I am not paying because they don't respond?
How did you get the information on them being illegal?
