Usually old debts from pdl companies obtain information about new accounts if you apply for another internet payday loan, as long as you don't do that, you should be OK. At least I've never had any problems. :)

It is rare, but it does happen. There are ways. For instance, if you new bank ran a chexsystems report on you when you opened the account, the pdl can check that report, see the inquiry, and use the contract you signed giving them authorization to debit any account you may be a signer on in case of default to debit that new account.

The new bank did run me through chexsystems because I told them what had happened when I applied for the account and told them I wasn't sure if I was on it or not.
