HELP - Little Loan Shoppe

Since Little Loan Shoppe has filed for bankruptcy, does anyone know how this affects people that have taken out loans with them? I recently received an e-mail from BBB, months after they closed the claim as unresolved, that LLS is still claiming they provided an installment loan and that I still owe them. Any thoughts/idea about how I should respond? Thanks.

I fail to see the reason why BBB would contact you over a loan with LLS. I think you immediately need to send the DV letter to Little Loan Shoppe . Though the company has filed for BK but it doesn't relieve you from what you owe to them. May be the loan would surface with the new owner of the company.

Poster got an e mail from BBB because they had a claim . BBB told them the claim was unresolved. You do not send dv letters to original creditors, only 3rd party collectors.

Fortunately, I don't owe them. I have overpaid 2 loans by hundreds and hundreds of dollars and was in the process of paying another before I found out the loans were illegal. Just want them out of my life!
