I have a loan with CashCall ($5000) and reside in Ohio. I have read several posts on here regarding this company, but most of them seem to have to do with the loan originator Western Sky transferring loans to CashCall.

When I checked my documents, it lists the lender as First Bank of Delaware. I believe this may mean that the loan is legitimate. To date I have paid over $9600 in principal & interest (59.95% APR). Do I have any kind of recourse with them due to the extremely high interest rate?

I am willing to repay the principal, but the current deal I was offered would mean I would pay an additional $3192 over the next 19 mths, on top of the $9600 that I have already paid them.

I'm not familiar with the loan when it comes through FBOD. I'd suggest you call your state financial regulator.. it looks like it's one of these two people

I kregarding now there was something going on with First Bank of Delaware their lending practices. If I remember correctly they were shut down or have a cease and desist order. You might want to goggle and get more information. It might help your way out.

If I am correct, Western Sky and Cash Call are now in bed together and are doing business together. I didn't think that Cash Call was partnering with FBOD anymore, but perhaps I am mistaken.
There is a strong possibility of a Class Action Suit against Cash Call in California, according to the email I received last week and posted on the boards. I and several others in the community will probably be members of the class and will keep you all posted.
