Loan Point USA is at it again!

In January 2009 I had 6 pay day loans and every single month I was sinking deeper in debt. That's when I stumbled upon this site. It really changed my life. I did exactly as suggested. I closed my ban account. I contacted the State Attorney General's office, I sent the companies their certified letters and so forth. The Attorney Generals office told me not to pay any of these people another dime!
These companies called for a couple of months. They called my employment. They tried to get the secretary to "garnish" my wages and send it to them. But I had told my boss and secretary at work that somehow these scammers were after my money--so the secretary would take care of those calls for me. The calls stopped. I have not had another pay day loan and don't ever plan on getting another one.
HOWEVER, today (Sept. 3, 2010) out of the blue --Loan Point USA called me at work. I was so shocked. I hung up on them and he immediately called back. I told them they were an illegal company with no license in my state--he acted like he didn't know what I was talking about. I basically hung up on him again and then he called my cell phone #.
I am totally shocked that they would call after this long time. What should I do? Send them another certified letter? contact the Attorney General's office? how do I get them to leave me alone?

Yes, I think you need to contact the AG's office and complain about them. These illegal companies need to be investigated fast. Check out with your service provider if they can block the number.

You definitely need to file complaints. If I were you, I would have my cell phone number changed. If they continue to call you at work, pretend you are someone else and tell them you are no longer employed there. Otherwise, don't speak to them at all, hang up immediately, they will tire sooner of talking to thin air them someone who will argue with them.
