Than she explained that we need to make arrangments and I said what are they requesting and she said for me to pay 90.00 every 2 wks and I explained that I couldn't afford that, but I could send something and that I wanted the address so that I can mail in a money order and she said no we don't take payments through the mail than she said that I needed to pay the 90.00 regardless of the circumstance and that I signed a contract stating that I will pay this back no matter if it means not paying my rent, mortgage, car, food so my children could eat and etc....I said huh that doesn't sound right and she replied YES IT DOES! Than she told me that I needed to go out and get a prepaid visa to make payments.
So these are my questions:
1. Are they legal in the state of FL (i pulled up they weren't but she claims I have wrong info)?
2. Is there another email address for this company so I can send another letter?
3. Should I file a complaint about them?
4. And what is there physical mailing address so that I can send a money order?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
** In closing the number that called me was 866-489-0979.

Your state law prevails no matter what they try to tell you, I wouldn't answer any more of their phone calls, and I would report them to the FTC, BBB and your state attorney general's office. CLICK HERE to find out how to deal with illegal lenders.

Thanks so much for the info. I am not going to answer any more calls or anything from these people. I too tried to get a address or something to send the money and they told me they don't have one. I would have to send a money gram at Wal_mart. I haven't sent that either. When they can't get anymore money, they can sure start calling you then, but can't send you a letter or anything..... Thats bull. What a way to do business.....

i agree please follow through and file those complaints.. this company is really bad and does illegal collections tactics.
i had a loan with them and they refused to work with me even though they were not legal in my state and i literally overpaid them by thousands in taking out several loans with them.
they get very nasty on the phone i would not speak with them anymore, just send out certified letters to them. I sent mine to [COLOR=#0000ff]

However I would not send them a dime until you have a written agreement on how this is to be settled. when you get an agreement send out a money order only, they can to take physical payments, prepaid cards only cost you more money and i never could understand why these companies have problems with money orders..
since this loan was not legal all they can do is make threats, try to avoid their phone calls, keep sending letters out and relax. you can pay this back on your terms.

I dealt with them, I paid the remaining principal balance by money gram from Wal-Mart and they sent me a PIF. Stand your ground, quote your state laws and this will work out for you.

the only way to stop them is by closing your bank account. to get complete information, start a new thread.. list your state, how much was borrowed, how much was paid back.
