I wish I could say I had one but I don't...not yet. I have received emails requesting that I call to talk about a resolution. I simply replied with:
"I realize that you are doing your job, but I do not negotiate with unlicensed payday lenders. The state of Texas in requires licensing for the business model "Payday Lenders", without the proper licensing a payday lender is NOT entitled to interest and fees, so it???s your mistake.
Please mark my account ???Paid in Full??? AND send a refund on the amount of $1256.00 via address below in the form of a cashier's check within 3 days. If a refund is not issued I will be forced to contact the Internet Crime Complaint Center-in affiliation with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) as well as BBB and the Texas Attorney General???s Office and provide them with a detailed report of your illegal business activities. Be advised that I am not a patient person. Please respond accordingly."

I have not heard from them since. And as such, I have reported them to the BBB, Texas Attorney General AND the FTC. Makes me nervous that I have not heard from them, but oh well...and I even used the "Quality Assurance Supervisor's" full name in the complaints. We will see.

I took out a loan with LoanpointUSA in late 2008. I borrowed $300.00. After 4 months they had withdrawn $1250.00 from my acct and said that was all interest. I closed the bank acct. and wrote them the letter letting them know that I had found out they were not even licensed in my state and not to call, etc. They continued to call for awhile. They called my place of employment about a wage assignment. My boss gave them the fax # to my work and told them to send the proof that I owed this and that she would show the papers to our attorneys for our business and go from there. Guess what? They never faxed anything. They finally quit calling. But now I get constant calls from collection agencies about this debt from Loanpoint. "First IRS" called and I wrote them a letter disputing the debt & told them not to call--they kept calling for awhile and stopped...Now I am getting calls from "Powell Law Firm". I just mailed them the certified letter (and received the return card showing they signed for the letter)--they continue to call--of course I file complaints against the CAs. Powell Law Firm will no doubt quit calling soon, but God only knows what scumbag collection agency will call next. I would love to hear of someone who has a success story from LoanPointUSA!! This is one horrible company that needs to be shut down.

Unfortunately, they are not stopping the ACH transactions. They are STILL trying to debit varying amounts from the closed account. Can these guys NOT read?? Anyway, I keep updating my complaints with a history of ACH transactions since I sent them the cease and desist letter...I really wish they would get a clue. They waste so many hours, money, etc trying to collect on money that they ILLEGALLY contracted to get.
They're trying to break you, but it isn't going to work, is it.
