payday loan frustration

I live in NYC and I had a $800 loan with My Money Chest and began repayment 1/4/2013. To date I have paid them $1590.00. The repayment of this loan was not explained to me correctly even after calling them on two occasions. I sent them a Revocation of ACH payment letter, now they are telling me that I still owe them the original $800. What if anything should/could I do with this situation?

this pdl is illegal in NY as all pdl's are.since you overpaid you are entitled to a refund.go to soaplady's,or helpinaz's signatures on dealing with illegal lenders.i can tell you that illegals will lie and harrass.bottomline is you not only don't owe 800.00 they owe you 790.00.

Also make sure to report this to your NY Dept of Financial Services ASAP. NY has some of the best laws against payday loans and from what I can tell they take these matters seriously.
