Have just read some horror stories regarding pay day loans. I just recvd. one from loan shop for 300.00 with a 90.00 fee. She said I pay it all at the time it is due (from my chckng accnt.) I will not be charged again. Will they take money that isn't owed from my account? I alos have one loan pending with fast money 911 for 400.00 with 120 fee. Please tell me if I should just cancel that one, and how to avoid being overcharged on the first 300. Thanks!!!

yes cancel the FAST MONEY loan and how long ago did you get the loan from LOAN SHOP.if possible see if you can have it returned too.if not yes pay it off right away.these ipdl's are more trouble than you can imagine.

Thanks you for writing back so quick. I will cancel the second one tonight. (will they still try to take money from my checking account)?

I got the loan shop one two days ago. Will they take more than is due to them?

have done anything with the 300.00 yet?if not you should be able to cancel that too.i would keep an eye on my account for a little while.these places are notorious for debiting more than they should or not debiting the full amount just to keep you paying.

I've dealt with the Loanshop before. What they will do is e-mail a 'payment option' to you. You can pay the fee on your nrxt pay date..$90.....or......pay the entire amount plus the $90 fee......or.........you can pay the $90 fee and alittle more toward the principle. You should have gotten something, via e-mail, explaning all of your options.

Ok.., good. Maybe, for a while, anyway, you can just pay the fee. Sometimes that's all you CAN do. I'm not 'putting you down', I'm just saying we ALL struggle with PDL's. Hope the 'personal' advice helps.

I think it's a good idea to go ahead and cancel those deposits. If they do end up hitting your account, send them right back!

What I would do next is go to your bank and open a different account, transfer your current funds (minus those deposits if they are made) and close the other account. Once your account information is in the hands of an illegal internet company...there really is no telling what they will or will not do. This way you're information is going to kept safe and you can feel confident that they will not start drafting everything from you. It's almost impossible to get this money back. Get out the payday loans all together...they're nothing but trouble.

True....you can do that, too. Usually, from 24 hours from the ACH, MOST banks will beable to send them back. Or..maybe, if you can't solve this with the bank account you have, you can close your account and open another one.
