I have eleven Internet payday loans. I am over my head in interest and I know it. On other forums I have seen that Internet loans are legal in Louisiana. Three of my payday loans was for five hundred an I have paid over 1000 in interest. What can I do to get this stopped. I am closing my checking acct tomorrow but will they be able to file charges against me

Christ! You're in a big trouble. State the names of all the payday loans one by one. We need to check if they are legal or not. You don't need to pay interest to the illegal payday loan companies. Revoke the ACH authorization for the time being.

Gosh! Are you nuts? 39 payday loans? Why did you take out so many loans? What do I say? Man!!!! What have you done?

List the names of the 39 payday loans. I'm sure some of them must be illegal. What state are you in by the way? Do you know the state payday loan laws? Are they legal in your state?

For legal payday loans, you have 2 options. Your first option is payday loan consolidation program. Your second option is payday loan settlement. Your third option is Extended Payment Plan.

For illegal payday loans, just pay the principal amount. You need to revoke the ACH authorization for the illegal payday loans.

I have 39 payday loans. 13 for each of the next 3 months!
I must stop the cycle. My entire paycheck goes to the months loans and then I have to borrow money to pay bills.
I have set up another checking account because I think my only way the payday company will work with me is if I close the main account.
This has been going on for 2 years.
Thoughts?

can you get a chunk of amount from any of your savings? if yes, then go fo the settlement. I don't think the companies will agree on any negotiation with you especially if they are legal lenders. Otherwise, the last option is bankruptcy.
