I found a lot of useful information on this sight about how to deal with illegal internet pdl lenders. I am currently dealing with Magnum Cash Advance, Star Cash Processing and Paycheck Today. I closed my bank account, sent them letters letting them know that they are illegal in my state, and that I have overpaid on my account, etc. My question is, will I get better results if go thru one of those PDL Companies?

Thanks for your reply. I have overpaid paycheck today on a loan that was $400, I have paid $840, with Magnum I borrowed a total of $3200 (rollovers) and paid about $4500 total, and I still owe Star Cash Processing on a $300 which I have only paid $130. Star wants me to pay them $520. I never even asked them for a loan, it just appeard in my checking account one day. I think they got my info from a website that brokers out to different pdl companies when you fill out an application. So you think since they are illegal in the first place that they can't really take me to court or anythign right? Especially if I have overpaid them according to my state's laws?

they really cannot take you to court.. they have no legal leg to stand on!! you morally just owe the balance, and you overpaid on most. there are quite a few threads on star cash processing, they are horrible   but luckily are the only ones you owe.. i would demand a physical address from them and send them a money order only for what is left on the principal amount only.. do not send them a dime more! i would demand refunds from everyone else.

bettyboop, the BBB got that info from me ;) they are in miami, ok but i have yet to find a physical address.. the one i had got sent back to me because the post office said no such address exists.
email them but not from your work email as they might threaten to show your job that you are using their computers.. there is a PO box address listed on one of the star cash threads that you might want to try, i am going to send letters out to that PO Box this weekend.

Thanks beals2ls! These Star Cash people are really something else. They must have an employee program that trains them how to be a**holes because each one I have spoken to in the past was rude and obnoxious. Like I said, I never even applied for a loan with them! Thanks again for the info.
