I have six payday loans and live in Texas. Several I have been paying on for many months. My total payments are $1100 every two weeks and I can't make ends meet. I have more than paid the loan just in the huge interest payments. What can I do legally to get these closed out? Also are these companies legal in Texas?

VC Funding
Payment Direct
Eastside Lenders
Cashback Payday
Payday Loan Yes
Magnum-ICA

Welcome.

Remember, many of us are in the same situation. We need the following information. How much was each of your loans and how much have you paid total on each. Were these internet or storefront loans. Please provide this information and we'll be in a much better position to assist. I know Eastside and PAyday Yes are ILLEGAL not sure of the others but I'm sure someone will chime in. Read the sticky on how to deal with illegal lenders.

close your account and let the loans default. they will not work out an epp with you until the loans are in default and the ach transaction agreement has been revoked.

once you are on epp the rollover fees stop. then work out payment plans that you can afford.

these people will keep taking as long as you let them. put a stop to them conveniently drafting your account.
