I defaulted on a Magnum Cash Advance installment loan last week and sent them a
letter revoking ach debits, contacts, etc. I included my state laws (PA) and also showed
my loan amount and amounts paid and what dates. Overpaid by $234.00
have not heard anything from them - should I resend my e-mail as I would like a
PIF and if possible a refund

I would advise you to send your mail once or twice every week. Let their inbox be filled with your mail. Then only, you can expect them to reply to your mail. Have you closed your bank account? Once they receive your mail, they will surely try to hit your account and empty it.

You must ask for a refund and a PIF. After all, it's your hard-earned money.

Be sure to also send all of your documentation and letters to them certified mail as well. If you haven't already done so I might suggest you file a complaint with the AG, FTC and BBB in your area and there's. That seems to work really well. I did that with Great Sky and I heard back from them immediately. Hope to get a refund check back but if nothing more a paid in full. I already have a paid in full email but I want a letter sent via US postal service. If I've learned anything from this payday mess it's the more prepared you are, the better your documentation is, the better your chances are of getting what you want.

well I received a response from Magnum Cash Advance today - I defaulted on them about 2 weeks ago - they sent what looks like a standard letter about I applied with them, they did not come to me and that the BVI laws override my state laws (PA). But the last paragraph states that the director of ICA (which is the Magnum) has agreeded to consider my loan as paid in full and the remaining balance has been credited and my account is no longer active.
according to my state laws - I overpaid - but I would have to say I am happy to receive the PIF - as I am still saving $280. bi-weekly.
so I have 3 PIF so far and 4 to go - at least I'm on the right road now and should be hearing from the other soon (I hope) - they are USfastcash, 500fastcash, Extra Cash Live,
and PDY Services. I can't believe what a mess you can end up in with these PDLs and I am just so happy to be getting thru this mess with the help, guidence and support found on this site.
Thank you all so much and anyone still dealing with these companies - know that there is hope to get yourself out of these.

Congrats!!!! It's sometimes good to be happy with the PIF (which many don't get), since getting a refund is for the lucky few. Great going. Best of luck for the rest.
