I have a PDL with MP Processing for the last 3 months and I have been paying them $90 every other week. This is the only PDL that I kept after I sent emails and letters to the other ones that I had a few months ago, that were illegal in Florida and I had stop paying them and request refunds (which I have not received).
So I receive this NSF charge from my bank this week indicting that they paid the $90 to MB Processing on Friday and they charged me the NSF charge of $35. The contract that I have with them is that they withdraw their money on my paydates (every other Monday). I contacted them and asked them for a refund of my NSF charge and they told me that they couldn't do it because it wasn't their fault that my paydate was a holiday (Labor Day) and that their system operates automatically withdrawing the business day before.
I was like "Are you serious? You guys have caused me an NSF of $35 and I want it reimbursed." They said no, that it wasn't their fault to call the bank and ask for a refund. It was their fault, not the bank's.
I asked him how many payments I had made on the $300 and he told me that I had made 7 payments = $630. So that made me madder and I told him, so now I am going to close my account to put a stop to all your withdrawals, and see what you can do about it. He replied that it was going to add more fees to my account.
I was so upset, that I hung up, and called the bank. I placed stop payments on them and it cost me an additional $31 but its worth it.
Also, I sent them the email with the State of Florida Payday Lending laws and requested a refund.
I told them that I was going to report them to my AG and FCC if they didn't refund my overpayment.
All that I wanted was my $35 refunded, but they are playing games, so now they won't get my money anymore.

Amazing!!! I got a quick reply from them. Here it is:

how can an unlicensed out of the country piece of pdl sh*t enforce that?you have way overpaid, your state laws apply, and they are not legal in the US period.secure your account against this place and know they all like to think they are above the law,but they are not.in fact you are owed a refund and should start emailing that request once you close your account.see how they respond to that.their contract is worthless, and non-enforceable.

I'm new at this...but from what I understand after spending hours reading all the information on this forum, they are illegal and anything you signed is void. I'm interested to see if they give you a refund. I have dealt with them in the past...I wish I knew about this website before I paid them off.

I keep getting emails from them like this one. I finally told them that I was not open to negotiate and that since I have already overpaid, I was requesting a refund in the amount of $330.

If you were right we wouldn???t be in business. You have only paid the service fee to refinance your loan five times. That???s know were near $330 over. You gave up your rights in your state when agreed to the loan. Everything was explained to you in full detail when you got the loan. You agreed to all the terms and conditions. You???re not the first person to Google payday loans. Have a wonderful day.

I am not going to even bother responding to their emails.... Let them send me to collections and then the drama will begin again. Ugh!!!!

Paul, I think they are in the United States, even though I do not have their physical address, but one thing is for sure, is that they are not licensed in Florida. They keep saying that they are but when I ask them for their license #, they don't give it to me.

they have US addreses as shells or mail drops.their real address is in another country,or the sovreign nation lenders might have a US address, but since they claim"tribal immunity"it is the same as a foreign pdl.if you have filed AG complaints respond once that any further emails will be forwarded as part of that complaint.
