these guys called me and scared me with a lawsuit. i am entering the military and can not have any open cases so i shut them up buy giving them$0 and they say i owe another 432 after that. they said the payday loan was bought from web atm. not sure who they are i had a payday loan with the following Ameriloans, mycashnow, cash yes and bank of deleware. i then did some research and it had a few bad things but i am not sure if its real i can not afford to hadve any open cases now. what can i do?

You haven't mentioned which state you are in. You first need to find out if the payday lender was legal in your state to offer loans or not. Anyway, send a debt validation letter to the collection agency demanding proof about the debt. You can customise and use the sample letters available in the site.
Don't make any payment arrangement with the collector till you get proper validation. One more thing, please educate yourself on FDCPA to protect your rights as consumer.
