I have to say my situation has improved so much since I first found this forum and got a TON of help from you guys a few months ago. :D

I've brought my checking account current (from being overdrawn $600 because of those PDL jerks) and got BofA to put a balance freeze on it. I also received a PIF letter from CashNetUSA after a LOT of phonecalls panic attacks.

All I have left is MyCashNow and Payday One.

Now. I know MCN is totally illegal, so I got a letter together outlining the laws of Arizona and told them to kindly eff off. I have paid them exactly $420, which was the principal, and they still say I owe them $1160. Sorry, not gonna happen! My problem is that MCN and their collection guys, CPD, bounce back all of my emails. The physical addresses I was able to find on this forum seem to be old, too, because my letters came back undeliverable. Those crooks refuse to give me any real contact info besides a telephone number. So now what do I do?

Payday One hasn't called or emailed me in over a month, and then I get a call from them last night around 7pm. I answer, and they hang up immediately. I call back and get a message saying their office is closed after 6pm. So... what's up with that?

Like I said, I've got a block placed on my account, so I'm not worried about that... But how the heck do I get MCN/CPD to acknowledge my C&D letter? and how long can I go on ignoring Payday One?

Thanks for your help!!

Continue to send the C&D letters. It can get annoying, but some PDL companies do not play by the rules. Did you try calling PayDay One to make payment arrangments, they have been pretty eay to work with for others. Do you still owe them anything?
