I live in Mississippi. I have 7 internet payday loans. I am going to stop payment on them tomorrow in the am. I have signed up for debt settlement help with this website. I am so worried that the companies can bring legal action against me. Has anyone from Mississippi dealt with this bad a situation before. HELP!

There are alot of members on this site from all around the US and I am sure someone has been here from Mississippi. Please list the names of the companies and list how much you have borrowed in principal and how much you have paid back.

Someone will be around to post the pdl laws for your state and guide you through the process. You need to close out your checking account, but prior to doing that please read the thread on closing you checking account due to pdl's so that you know what to expect.

First of all you are going to want to send them a cease and desist letter, an letter revoking any rights of wage assignments that may have been the contracts that you signed.
