I have 2 PDL's that I'm pretty sure aren't licensed in IL out right now:
integritypaydayloans.com - borrowed $800 - paid $600 in the rollover payments so far
cashjar.com - borrowed $1000 - paid $625 in interest on the rollovers so far

I made the mistake of emailing the revoke ACH letter found on this site before closing my bank account to only cashjar.com. They haven't responded. I have the rollover payments going through from both loans tonight, and when I went to the bank today I had pending transactions so I couldn't close it in time.
I bank with Chase, and the banker that worked with me was awesome. He told me to come back after these payments bounce and he'll delete the ISF fees and help me close the account.
Are these two lenders legal in the state of IL? Since I haven't paid off the original loan amount how should I procede once they realize my payments bounced and my bank account has been closed?
As long as I contact them and keep in contact, will they call the references I listed or my employer?

You should contact with the Illinois Division of Financial Institutions in order to know whether or not pdl companies are licensed in your state. Their contact detail is as follows:
# Address - Consumer Credit Section, 320 W. Washington Springfield IL 62701
# Phone - 888-298-8089

If you find that they are not licensed to operate in your state, then you are required to pay them only the principal amount. Illegal lenders won???t be able to take any legal action against you. If it???s not possible to close your account, then you may request your bank manager to put a hard debit check on your bank account so that they can???t debit money from your account in future. being in IL myself i can state that neither place has license in IL so the OP only owes the principle.not only that but they must deduct the fees they paid.that is what they really owe.OP go to the sticky titled DEALING WITH ILLEGAL LENDERS at the top of the pdl help forum.follow every step and don't skip steps.the first being to close your account.do that and keep us posted.

I am writing on behalf of Cash Jar in response to your recent email.* Cash Jar strives to assist consumers with their short term cash needs and is concerned that you were disappointed with your most recent experience.* We have noted your request for no further communication by telephone.
Please be advised, however, that your loan was made pursuant to Cash Jar?s license in its home country of Belize under the International Financial Services Commission Act of Belize, Chapter 272.* Cash Jar?s contracts, including the loan agreement you signed, clearly designate Belize law as governing its transactions and provide all disclosures required by Belize and U.S. federal law.* Cash Jar has no physical presence in the State of Chicago, and does not solicit Chicago consumers via mail, telephone, or email; therefore, we are not subject to its regulatory jurisdiction.* In order to obtain a loan from Cash Jar, a Chicago consumer must log on to the internet and access Cash Jar?s website, just as you did.* You received documents in conjunction with your loan fully describing how the finance fees are applied and your repayment options, and you agreed to these terms, including the applicability of Belize (not Chicago) law to the transaction, with electronic signatures in multiple places.* Should you require another copy of your documents, or if you need clarification on points referenced in the documents, please contact us.* A careful review of those documents should resolve your concerns regarding the terms applicable to your loan.*
Our records show that you have made payments in the amount of $625.00 toward your $1000.00 loan.* We intend to continue our efforts to collect the loan balance from you.* However, we do understand that the current economic situation has adversely affected many people.* We are currently willing to offer you a settlement in full if you will make a payment of $625.00.* If this settlement offer is acceptable to you, or if you?d like to discuss other arrangements or make a credit card payment, please contact us at 1-866-568-2213 at your earliest convenience.* It is in your best interest to make arrangements with us directly, as your loan may be sold in the future to a third party collection agency.* Those agencies are empowered to take legal action to collect the debt, and once they purchase your account from us, the nature of their actions is not within our control.*
Thank you for the opportunity to clarify this matter and address your concerns.*
Sincerely,
Cash Jar

the fact that they are not located in the US makes them illegal.you only owe 375.00 on this and shouldn't pay another dime.respond to that this way.

since i'm not a resident of belize, have never been a resident of belize,or will ever be a resident of belize IL law prevails.btw that being said i only owe 375.00 on this and if you don't want that then fine.my position is now clear.give me an address to send payments on the 375.00.i am not going to discuss anything with you over the phone.your email was enough of an indicator on how you see this and it's not worth my time to argue.

respond like that as that is the typical response from an out of the country illegal lender.IL law prevails, despite their stupid dellusions.

2things: I've done loans in the past with casjar and integrity pdl, should I demand a refund for the past finance/interest fees?

Where is integritypaydayloans.com actually located? Anybody know? Don't confuse them with integrity advance (iadvancecash.com)

After reading many posts it seems that the companies located in another country are the easiest to deal with (rather then the tribal lenders), would you guys agree?

a couple of things.

1)yes since both are illegal you can apply anything over the principle on those to your current loans.
2)i found both types "tribal lenders"and out of the country pdl's to be a pain in the a$$ as since the tribal lenders are not subject to US law.i consider them the equivalent of an out of the country pdl.

just my thoughts.
