I currently have 5 payday loans out. Am a single mom, living in nebraska. I am current with the loans but my bills are falling behind.
THey are as follows:
1. Paycheck Advance, Storefront, 425.00 w/ 75.00 int. Have been paying and rewriting for several months now on this one
2. Mister Money, storefront, 425.00 w/ 75.00 interest., several months also
3. Advance America, storefront, 425.00 w/75.00 interest., two months
4. Check N Go, storefront, 425.00 w/ 75.00 interest, two months
5. ameriloan, online company, 300.00 w/90.00 interest taking directly out of my bank acct., 1 month now

I am working full time plus and can't seem to make a dent in any of these. Have applied for small personal loans through my bank and other lenders but due to a bankruptcy 2 years ago following my divorce, they won't even consider me. My family and friends are unable to help and I am worried about having bad check charges if I default on any of them. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I live in Nebraska also, the stores that you have pdl's are licensed and are legal. You need to find out if they are members of the CFSA which I know for a fact that Payday Advance and Advance America and Check N Go are. That means that you can go in before they are due and enter into an extended payment plan over 4 payments I believe.

I am not too sure about Mister Money as I believe they are also a pawn shop, so you might want to check into that. Either way you need to make payment arrangements with them because they will and do sue if you do not pay them.

As far as ameriloan I am not sure if they are operating legally in Nebraska. You are not going to be prosecuted for bad check charges.

Here are the pdl laws for Nebraska as provided by goudah:

In order for Ameriloan online pdl needs to be licensed in the state of Nebraska to lend legally. Check out this thread and you can search for each one of those: http://www.ndbf.org/searches/fisearch.shtml. I tried to do a search for Mister Money but didn't come up with anything and also I don't know what city and state ameriloan is operating out of.
