MO Law: Can I close my account?

I have three storefronts and wanted to know if I can legally close my checking account and then work out arrangements with each?

Criminal Action: Prohibited (Unless check returned due to closed account or stop-payment by maker)

Okay, if the check goes thru and bounces...can they run it more than once?

I believe they can run it through twice, you might want to check your state regulations on that though.
