Can they find out your checking account information if you send them a money order from your own bank?

I would go to a gas station for the money order. If there is a judgment against you or a lawsuit pending the creditor's attorney can subpeona any banks asking if you have an acct there. If I were a collector I would certainly start looking where the MO came from. Better safe than sorry.

Oh well, to late, it was a payment that I sent to a PDL that they agreed I only owed the principal of the loan. I would think that since they were never authorized for this account (its new) they would not be able to submit an ACH. There is no judgement against me, or lawsuit pending. I was under the impression that since they are illegal lenders they couldn't sue me, or get a judgement against me. Isn't that correct?

Take it easy, this is not a capital crime. This is only small claims, which is an easy judgment for a legal lender.

The likelyhood of them suing you is slim to none.
