Hello everyone. I got sucked into these PDL's i was barely making enough to make my bills everymonth. I live in las vegas here are my PDL's. I thought I was gonna be able to pay these all off, but my work has slashed hours. What can i do to further prevent getting deeper and deeper in debt. I need advice. Its driving absolutely insane. This paycheck i have not enough to pay these off just to make rent and get food. Does anyone know the Nevada laws concerning PDLS? thanks.

Cash1- 436 initial, payed 36 minimum now owe 472 due 14 aug 09

Moneytree - 233 initial, paid 33 minimum now 233 is what i still owe due 17 aug 09

cashnet - 562 loan including interest, now doing a payment of 187 every paycheck. Called to see if they can just extend this end of the month and early september but will not budge. how can i pay them if i dont have money??

Hi there and welcome, well, unfortunately Nevada payday loan laws aren't very pro-consumer. You can read them at the link below.
http://www.paydayloaninfo.org/state_detail.cfm?id=NV
I am assuming all of these are store front except CashNetUSA. You'll need to make some type of payment arrangements with them. Cash 1 and Moneytree may offer an EPP (Extended payment plan). I was trying to go to the CFSA website but it won't load so it must be down. There I could find out whether any of these lenders are members. Anyway, if they are members, request an EPP, this way you can pay off these loans in four separate payments and the interest stops when you enter into the agreement.

CFSA = The Community Financial Services Association of America,
http://www.cfsa.net/

The website is working now so I can check to see if yours are members, if they are that means you would be eligible for the EPP. I highly recommend you taking advantage of the EPP as the interest stops and they divide your payments into four equal payments. I honestly can't recommend a debt consolidation program for payday loans, but that's just my own personal view.
Both of your store front lenders ARE members of the CFSA, this means you can get an EPP. Click the link below to read about the EPP, number 11.

also do you think they will agree to me to starting this EPP at my next paycheck because this paycheck will not be enough to cover for this. And also cashnet i already contacted them in seeing if they can just extend this until my next paycheck what will happen if i dont pay this on time??

If my memory serves me correct, when I started the EPP I had the option of paying that day or the next paydate. This was with Advance America and all I had to do was go in before my loan due date then request the EPP from there. The clerk informed me that I could pay in 2 weeks or pay early that day. You may want to call the company and clarify.

All you can do is ask for an EPP, I'm not sure what they will say, the guidelines state to request EPP before you default. You can read about it at the link below.
http://www.cfsa.net/public_education_campaign/guidelines/guidelines_extended_payment_plans.html

You may even find it necessary to contact the corporate office, just do whatever you can to obtain an EPP. I will hope for the best!

Just as an FYI, the EPP is available in any state that a CFSA member operates. There may be states that have thier own EPP in the regulations that will override the CFSA's version. Also, if the customer has entered into an EPP with the company in in the previous 12 months, it is not an option.

To the OP,
I am not sure about state regs in NV pertaining to EPP's. You might want to call the state to verify.

Well I fell on hard times and had the choice of buying food (I have 2 children) or paying on my pay day loans. My next check is not going to be here for 2 weeks. So I had to not pay on my pay day loans. I want to pay them what I owe. I have been reading here to try and figure out what to do.

If they will not let me have an EPP how do I pay them?
oh, I have not ever been on EPP.

ok here is what happened when i went into cash1 today. I told them i needed to get into an EPP and they well we will have to wait till the check goes in on monday and you go into default. I asked them since there will be no money in the account the check will bounce right? and they said yes. So i cant avoid that? they said no. You will start your EPP when you get money just come in and you will do a payment of 95 for 5 payments. i mean the 5 payments of 95 is not bad, but i was trying to avoid bouncing a check because it will incur a fee from them and my bank. was there anyway around this?

well now i am falling into more and more debt. Well i went through my bank and basically told to stop the ach debit, and to dispute this cashnet, because clearly i did not have any money in there and why would i want my checking account to go overdrawn? Hopefully they resolve. I called cashnet and they basically said no they cant do anything. I told them so you will basically overdraw my checking when I am clearly stating that I will not have the funds right now for it? I wish I never went into these PDL's when i am done with them I will advise everyone I can to stay away!! so much headaches...

Cashnestusa did the same thing to me. I called them and told them prior to my due date and ask to be put on EPP. They said they could not do that and my payment amount would be taken out of my account on its due date. They said if it overdrafted my account then I would have to pay their returned check fee of $25 and I would have to pay the NSF fee to my bank.

If I cant afford to make the payment how do they think I can afford to pay overdraft fees.

I told them over the phone I wish to revoke my ach agreement. They said I could not do that because I signed a contract agreeing to ach. I got off the phone and sent them a fax revoking my ach agreement. I also took a copy to my bank.
