What state are you in?

im in the state of montana,one from sds processing says that interest keeps adding on so from a 250 loan it's now up to 500 and in the paper it was a finace chargeof 90 dollars

Montana requires internet based pdl's to be licensed by your state.

If you type the name of the lender into the search box located in the upper right hand corner of this forum you can read what other members wrote about these lenders.

these above are all online payday loans and i have paid only about 100 to each, one company i didnt even sign with and they put the money in my account, on of these sent it account to a place ca,led REDCO collections i cant find them anywhere

can a person bankrup againest the online companies

I'm sure you probably can BUT, if they are illegal lenders they will obviously NOT follow the BK laws either.

you did say they have to lic in the state of montana to do business how do i find that list? how do i find out the illegal ones

so i cant find out if they are illegal??? i have already closed out my account's and sds processing says they are going to turn it over to the court and something about my ssi number,what do yousugest i do

Shari, all I know is per the BBB just ROcky Boy it was determined they don't have to be licensed in Montana because they are on Indian Reservation. I'm just speaking of ROcky Boy, High Country, PDL Ventures (they got by multiple names)....

I highly doubt they have been placed in court being they are not licensed to lend in your state. Sounds like they are trying to intimidate you. Have you received a court summons or did they tell you this verbally?

they only said over the phone..so what do i do since i'm not working....

file AG complaints against them.the sovreign ground exemption is flimsy at best.it just means you can't sue them,but they can't sue you.no AG goes along with the premise by fixingit.they are illegal in every way.

well i did receive a letter from sds processing putting it into a collection agancy for 510 when the loan was for 200 and 90 finacne charge the loan statement didnt say anything about more fees being added on to it.. I did read it over

so i looked up the finace charge on the loan and it's 90.00 so how is it that they are chargeing 510 for the loan amount to me it should be 390 to pay it off... HELP

The $90 charge is I'm sure per period. So if your loan time is 2 weeks (which is the norm) then that is $90 every 2 weeks- not a flat $90. Thats how these pdls keep you in a never ending trap.

to answer the question.no they wouldn't.sds is an illegal ipdl that can do nothing but call and threaten.i'm curious as to how many 90.00 debits were taken by sds from the OP.

is LOAN SHOP ONLINE are the legal in montana
