I posted on your other link the response from MTE Financial. Basically in a nutshell, they agreed to walk away and "forgave" the remaining balance on the loan I had with them. Based on the laws of my state, I had over paid and was due a refund. Of course I am still waiting, but it is better not to have to deal with with.

They responded to my first complaint. They basically just said that I defaulted and that they no longer had the account that is forwarded to a collection agency. They have not responded to my second complaint.

Here is the link that shows my response from them.

Amerlioan settled with me immediatly and MTE dropped of the face of the planet..LOL! I did get a call when I faxed letters to MTE-aka- quickestcashadvance.com. They agreed not to debit my account then dissapeared. So I sent email after 3 months stating I considered the matter closed due to no response to a PIF letter. I paid them $15 dollars over the principal, it was a minimal loss :)
