I am being harassed by a company claiming to represent some company named MTE financial saying that I got a loan in 2009 online. I live in Illinois. I know I did get some loans but I thought I paid them all. I asked them to send me something and they just sent a basic letter with the wrong account number and a address out of state that i have not lived at for 6 1/2 years. What can i do?

The documents that they have sent you doesn't prove that you owe the debt. This is not a proper validation at all. Send them a cease and desist letter via certified mail with return receipt requested. This way they can't harass you any more.
