I filed a complaint with the Wisconsin Department of Financial Institutions and besides stating the laws in their response they also stated this.

Information we have learned about MTE Financial Services indicates that it is located on tribal land in Oklahoma according to the regulator in Oklahoma osbd.state.ok.us

have you filed AG complaints yet?i can't recall if you did.

If they are operating on tribal land, they may or may not be subject to state regulation.. if they are a native enterprise, either tribally owned or owned adn operated by a tribal member, then federal and tribal laws apply. One could try filing complaints with the FTC and even the US federal reserve (based on there use of the ACH Clearing house. You might also try and fiel a complaint with the Office of the solicitor general of the united states department of the interior (the cabinet agency that the bureau of indian affairs is under.

In my case...OK AG will write a letter but will do nothing after that...he actually told me not to call because they are on Tribal land....he told me my loans that I had with two companies were null and void. Thats all that I will get. The two companies marked my loan PIF but I do not what made them do it---no monies returned even though they were suppose to. good luck!!!!

Pinklady, you already heard from the AG. In WI any complaints that are made to the AG that the DFI can handle they forward to them. So you will not hear from the AG only the DFI. I have tried to settle my accounts with MTE, I even had a nice little chat with OK's AG and they told me the same thing. But I guess the letter they sent to MTE did something. I didn't get a PIF but they don't call anymore. The collection agencies they sent down on us have been met with a fight between us and the WI DFI. So as of right now I have not heard anything from MTE or their CA's for about 6 months now. So if they keep hounding you just keep fighting back, they will soon get tired and back off. Good luck with this.

Well I am still sending them payments to clear up the principal amount that I borrowed of $300. My payments are getting sent through my debt management program so at least that way I will have proof and copies of checks showing that I paid them if they decide they want to pop up in the near future. I have one more payment left with them and then I'm done.
Now I just have to take care of usfastcash and I will just do the same thing with them.

Did you ask to speak with Cindy? She was extremely helpful to me. After I spoke with her I sent this to UFC. . . .

Attached is a copy of a recent communication which has been sent to Intercept EFT regarding my account and your continued attempts to collect on an illegal loan. At this point in time, I feel that it is necessary to go beyond the boundaries of your organization to assist me in getting this resolved. I have also sent a copy of this communication to Bremer Bank, identified as the originator of the funding source. They have been notified via telephone that the communication/complaint is in the process of being delivered to their financial institution. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I have recently spoken with your organization regarding an ACH/EFT revocation with USFastCash. I have also been in contact with Bremer Bank, which is the originator or their loans. I believe I spoke with Cindy. She was extremely helpful, sending an email to UsFastCash, as we spoke. I have not heard from them, as she indicated I would but that in it self is not a concern. They never answer requests. However, I have sent them an authorization revocation but they do not seem to be honoring that request. According to their website, they have a payment scheduled for April 30, 2008, in the amount of $90.00 I am now revoking any ACH/EFT withdrawals generated by UsFastCash, directly to you, as the third party processor. Please see the attached letter which has been sent to them repeatedly. Thank you for all your help.

And this is what I got back, in a heartbeat. . . .

Your account is closed, your balance zero.
