Sovereign Bank
Actually, they do not "rock" at all. Quite the opposite. I was out of work for three months. Called them as soon as I was laid off to try to work out a forebearance, but they refused. I sent them a check for 2,000 of a 2,100 mortgage payment and they sent it back with a 10% late fee added, so my new payment was 2,300...along the the next months payment. Again they refused to work out a forebearance, and my next bill was 4,400...gave them 4,100, they sent the check back and put on 10% of that as a late fee...new bill after three months was 6,900...then they just decided to foreclose. How did I get into this? I went to them for a mortgage, and they referred me (with fine credit!) to a place that was closed by the SEC for fraud 5 days after settlement (during which time they sold SOV the mortgage). No Sovereign bank does not rock, with 20 billion in credit liquidity (along with a chunk of the 700 billion I'm sure) they refuse to offer a small family a chance.
I'm working now, making more money than ever, and am paying over 15,000 in LATE FEES over the course of one year. I don't have time to write you the whole story, but trust me, they are not people, they are a money hoarding machine, and they do not "rock".
