Banks and Payday loans
Date: Tue, 11/08/2011 - 07:09
I had taken out a payday loan, repaid it...then realized I had 3 others that I did not know about. they state that the first one I signed "Gave" Them permission to loan to me...The bank now has my account held up, my last 2 payroll deposits are sitting there and I can't get the money. I was told my account was being closed due to NSF on 10/21 and that on 11/1 I would get a check for my money. It's now 11/8 and my money is still sitting at the bank. I cannot get them to drop the 10 nsf fees from the Illegal payday loans? Any ideas how I can resolve this and get my money, I've now been without money for 1 whole MONTH.
I suggest you go into your bank and talk to the branch manager.
I suggest you go into your bank and talk to the branch manager. Let him/her know that you'd like to fill out a fraud report. Explain that you did not authorize these transactions and that these lenders are operating illegally.
I did that, they said because I did not notify them within 3 day
I did that, they said because I did not notify them within 3 days of the withdrawal that they were legal? WTF?
You need to go back. If the branch manager won't help you, ask
You need to go back. If the branch manager won't help you, ask for the district manager. These were unauthorized transactions to your account. Tell them you want to fill out a fraud report/affidavit.
