The emails and phone calls to my work from a myriad of their numbers continue, months after telling them that I am not allowed to receive communication there. Not surprising, just irritating. I started answering the phone with "Sheriff's Department", just to hear them hustle.
I filed complaints with BBB, FTC, IC-3 and my State's Attorney General's office (I live in NC). The NC Department of Justice has sent them a letter informing them that they are not a licensed lender in NC and to immediate cease and desist all collections on this account. We'll see if that makes a difference.
It really is unfortunate that a service which is supposed to be a help in a difficult time can turn into a nightmare so quickly.
But I'm getting my weekly email from Tim Atkins. I don't know what I'd do without those. ;)

Oh yeah...

..."he" is still there. My new favorite pastime when I have a few extra minutes is to call as many of their extensions as possible from my google voice number...and press mute.
