i wanna thank everyone, ive just found this website and i love how knowledgable everyone is. hopefully my road to being debt free wont be that bad, to many calls ill change my number, my only worry is they'll call my job but the number i gave them is basically a phone tree number of a huge hospital...the companies ive borrowed from are zip19 which ill pay off, discount advances which ill pay off, united cash loans ill default on principal was $650 and ive paid $195 in fees, ameriloan ill default on principal was $650 and ive paid $195 in fees, and the vip loan shop which the principla is $1000 no fees paid. wish me luck!!!

Seems like most of your lenders are illegal. In case you have borrowed from an illegal lender, you need not repay anything more than the principal amount. You will also need to close down your bank account and open a new one immediately. Make sure the accounts are not linked in any way. That should be your first step. As for repaying the lenders, do not pay a cent over the principal and whenever you do pay, remember to only do it via prepaid debit card or money order. It would be also effective if you file complaints against the lenders with the AG's office and the FTC.

To keep them from calling you at work, inform the reception or your supervisor to ignore such calls as they are entirely illegitimate. Do not fall for empty threats like being charged with fraud or arrest. They are entirely baseless. Debts are a civil matter.

United cash loans, Ameriloan and VIP loan shop are illegal lenders. You owe principal only. No need to pay them an extra dime other than the principal. Close down your bank account and open a new one. Ask them for a refund, if you have overpaid them. Visit the following link to know how to deal with illegal lenders:

I saw your other thread with waffles. Keep in mind that all of your loans are offshore/tribal and illegal.

If you have had previous loans that you've paid off, make sure you add up all the deposits vs. all the withdrawals for each. You may not owe a penny more on some of these.

And pay them back on your own time. Don't let them dictate when you should pay and how much.

Dear (name of lender)

It has come to my attention that payday lenders must be licensed by the state of connecticut in order to offer loans to its residents. Since your company has no license in my state, the loan contract I have with you is not valid.
The loan that I have with you is for amount) and although i havnt paid anything towards the principal over the course of the past couple years i have paid thousands of dollars worth of interest on other loans not only with you but also with your sister company ( if there is one) therefore i would like you to consider my account as paid in full. i will not be asking for a refund as others might have.
Therefore i am also revoking authorization for ACH withdrawals and any wage assignment I may have signed. I have given a copy of these revocations to both my bank and my employer. Any future attempts to collect funds in this manner will be blocked. I am also requesting for you to not contact my employer for I have switched departments therefore i would not be able to be reached regardless. Please respond to this email with acknowledgment of this email and that my account has been paid in full. thank you for your time.

Add to that regarding Connecticut being a NO PDL state. All PDLs are illegal there.

You may be located elsewhere but you still have to obey connecticut's law in which payday loans are illegal therefore making me only morally responsible for the principal amount which i have more then paid with previous loan fees and interest. I was hoping to solve this between us but it looks like i may have to involve my states attorney general on my behalf.

You are a citizen of the state of Connecticut, however, the contract was not made in the state of Connecticut. With all the information at hand we are still willing to work out arrangements for the balance that is still legitimately owed. If no contact is made within a reasonable time frame, the account could eventually be placed with a third party collection agency.
