First I am so glad I found this place. I have found some informaition but having a hard time understanding it. First can I put ach stop payment on my Credit Union Account (I am from Arkansas)
The PDL's I have questions about are these:
Paragon Processing
Deposit Fast Cash
Namakan
Liberty Group
Qxonline (thats how it shows on bank statement)
E-Payday

I know how stupid I was but was in trouble with my kids needing things and one thing lead to another and now I am drowning. I don't understand the Arkansas Laws with online loans and I have read them over and over. Please help me!

Patsy: I too have several payday loans (9). First, you are not stupid, you were only desperate. This site has a lot of valuable information and if you follow it, you will be just fine.

The most important thing to do first is close your account with the credit union. I also belong to a credit union and once I explained to them what was happening, they immediately closed my account.

Someone on this site, will help you to determine whether or not the payday lenders that you have are licensed (legal) to do business in Arkansas. Just keep in mind if they are not licensed (legal) to do business in Arkansas, then you only owe them the amount you borrowed. You do not owe them any interest or fees.

Arkansas PDL laws state that all internet PDLs are legal to lend in the state if they're licensed in any US state. As per my knowledge, Paragon Processing is legal to lend in AR. Namakan and Liberty Group are offshore companies which makes them illegal to lend in your state. Not too much sure about Deposit Fast cash and E-payday. As per Qxonline is concerned, they are a company who locates a payday loan for people who apply.

I hope the info helps you.

Is Liberty Group, LLC a licenced company to do interenet payday loans or do they operate offshore? I never approved the amount of a loan that the deposited into my account. I have email corrospondence with at Joey at their customer service center stating that I only was looking for $100, not $300. On the original form, they quoted the wrong monthly take-home pay amount and they got the wrong bank/CU routing number to the account and still deposited the money. Also, most won't deposit to negative balance account, which it was at the time of money deposit. I am willing to pay back the original $300 only. Do I have to pay any interest, fees since they screwed up, not me.?
