i am getting this phone call from national recovery investigator about a payday loan i had. they said I will be arrested i told them i spoke to payday loan months ago and i would like to work on a payment scheadule but i didnt hear anything for a couple of months until last week. Please let me know if anybody went to jail for pay day loan.

As far as I know, no one has gone to jail simply for not paying a payday loan. (Reality check - Do the police in your area arrest people for being late on their credit card payments?)
This is a very common scare tactic used by payday loan collectors - especially for internet loans. BTW -Did the "investigator" have a ridiculously heavy accent and mention "downloading an affidavit?" If so, this is a pure scam meant to extort money from you and you REALLY have nothing to worry about.
