Help with National Group, Northway Financials and Paychecktoday
Date: Mon, 02/01/2010 - 08:40
Looking for contact information and advice on how to handle these 3 companies. I have a variety of emails and info but not sure what is real and trying to sort out the different names they seem to operate under.
1st Loan
Northways Financial which I believe came off of zip19.com
I took out 300 then 600 then 800 which I paid off, (huge interest).
Then they gave me a loan for 1100 and 1250 which when they tried
to ACH my account did not go through due to financial and medical bills
I incurred. Since they have continued to try to debit by account for 4 transactions totaling about 2900 every two weeks. I keep incurring overdraft fees, which have now totaled over 702 dollars. I am getting phone calls daily. After reading this board I realize they are illegal in my state of New Hampshire and are not liscensed in NH as required. Plus the interest they are charging is not legal in NH if they were registered.
2nd Loan
National Group.
Took a loan of just 300 on 10/19/09
I paid three ACH payments totaling $270 through 12/3/09
Then due to the medical issues the next ACH bounced and they
are now trying to do 3 ACH debits to my account every two weeks
totaling 210 dollars...when I only own them 30 on the original principal.
OD Fees incurred so far are $468 dollars.
Loan 3
paychecktoday.com
Took a loan of just 400 on 10/19/09
I paid three ACH payments totaling $360 through 12/3/09
Then due to the medical issues the next ACH bounced and they
are now trying to do 3 ACH debits to my account every two weeks
totaling $680 dollars...when I only own them 40 on the original principal.
OD Fees incurred so far are $195 dollars.

I also got an email from Fox Enterprises Ltd telling me I owe them money
but I am assuming they are one of these three companies??? I do not have (to my knowledge) any other loans. Does anyone know which company this is connected to?
Any advice is greatly appreciated, fast! And the contact information or connections if you have them.
Thank you!
I am in New Hampshire.

I think all the three lenders that you have are illegal in your state. Hence, you don't owe them a penny more that what you have borrowed. First off, you need to close the bank account to stop incurring NSF fees and then negotiate a payment to get the accounts paid.
Here is what you need to know about dealing with illegal pdls.

You must also read the sticky on closing bank account on the pdl forum before closing it.
