Just got a call from these guys. They say that they are recovering for Cash Transfer Centers. I did use them 3 years ago and they say that I have an outstanding loan. First, I am not going to pay 1300 to some company I do not know (NRS). Second, does anyone know anything about this company. How do I get rid of them. I cleared up all PDL's 2 years ago and I am just really mad that they keep rearing their ugly heads.

National Recovery Service is a bottom feeder, Cash Transfer Centers isn't even located in the U.S. making them an illegal lender. Tell the collection agency the next time they call they have 5 days after their first initial contact with you to send you a dunning letter (letter of collection) in the mail, that is a federal law (FDCPA). Also inform them that they are trying to collect on an illegal debt.

Well I just looked at my credit report and National Recovery is on there saying that I now owe $1100 how do I get them off of my credit report!

Send them a debt validation and inform them, as Shazz says, that they are trying to collect on an illegal debt that was paid. Then dispute it with the credit bureaus. They cannot validate an illegal loan. It will be removed.
