So I sent my c/d letters to nationwide, and included a listing showing the dates of all withdrawls from my account, totally $527 on a $300 loan. i requested my account be marked PIF. i don't even want the refund on what i overpaid. i just want this done. i haven't heard from these freaks in 3 weeks, since i closed my bank account.

now i get an actual call and a voicemail from some guy asking me what my 'intentions' are regarding my account and paying $197 in fees to them.

should i call this guy back and actually talk to them, or let the letter do the talking for me. i'm afraid they will try to send me into collections.

i would file AG and FTC complaints.they are illegal and don't care about the law.make them care.

So I called the guy, Earnest Holden ext 527 and he attempted to tell me i owed $197 on the loan but they would settle for $100. I told him that my account was already overpaid and I was not giving them my debit card information for another payment. I asked for a mailing address and he stated they didn't have one. He proceeded to argue with me about them not being illegal, that I was obligated by the contract to pay, and it did not matter if what the law in mississippi was, but that i was held by the laws of deleware. when i told him no, that i would be filing complaints, he said i wouldn't be in this trouble if i had good enough credit to get a loan out of a mississippi bank, and that my case would be referred to their legal department. at that point i let him talk and told him to have a nice day, that i wasn't paying another cent to them and i would be forwarding my complaints.

now what?! i

i need a smoke.

also, the only ones who have tried to reach me is nationwidecash. i legally owe iadvance and ezcash. the rest i have overpaid on the balances. they took away my online access to my accounts. if they are calling me, it is from blocked numbers which i never answer anyway, and they do not leave voicemails.

I must also inform you that I will be filing complaints with the Better Business Bureau, the Federal Trade Commission, and the ____ Attorney General's Office.

Did you send the letter to them Certified mail, return reciept requested? If not send it to them that way and keep your reciept. I also agree with trying to e-mail them, i never had any luck with my e-mails with any of the payday loan companies, they were all returned to me. Best of luck:)
