I hope the information below will help you. :)
You are only obligated to pay back the principal amount you borrowed from an unlicensed/illegal Internet Payday Lender.
What should you do?
Close your account asap, if you are unable to close your account, go into your bank and ask to speak with the Branch Manager, tell him/her you need a hard debit block placed on your account immediately! Explain that you are revoking ACH authorizations from unlicensed/illegal companies, and have learned these companies are notorious for ignoring revocation, therefore it is important to BLOCK any withdrawal attempts on your account to protect your interest. This is your privilege, do not accept no for an answer. The following link will provide you important information regarding closing accounts. CLICK HERE

What next?
AFTER your account is secure send each pdl (the unlicensed and illegal) an email similar to THIS (please scroll down to locate letter template). Tailor this letter to your needs, and try to write it with the same basic concept in your own words. You will need to research and locate email addresses/physical addresses if you don't already have them, I suggest that you type the name of the pdl (example: "oneclickcash address") in the search box in the upper right hand corner of this forum. You may also search for addresses HERE at the Better Business Bureau.

File complaints: Most of the time, you can file a complaint online with the following, I encourage you to follow through with doing so, you will need to search the Internet for your state Attorney General's website, however, here are links to file complaints for the FTC, Online complaints: Federal Trade Commission., and the BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU.

Keep in mind that you may not receive a response for days, or even weeks, or, you may receive harassing and threatening phone calls. I have found the best way to deal with this is not to respond or reply, simply hang up.

Side note: If you have paid an illegal/unlicensed payday lender above and beyond the principal amount you borrowed, it might be a good idea to demand a refund and a paid in full letter/receipt. You may or may not get one or both. It still doesn't hurt to include that tidbit in your letter. :)
So far I have only been threatened by nationwide cash the guy said his name is Mr. Mitchell he is very rude, and told me I am a liar and that I am commenting fraud. And from payday avenue. They are the only ones calling me right now. Should I send the letter to all of them even though the others aren't really bothering me yet.
And no instantcash usa is not one I'm dealing with, it's instantcash911 also known as fastmoney911. Thank you for the advice I can use all you can give me.

I have set payment arrangements with these companies but have not been able to keep them, because I had to pay my bank for nsf's to close out my account. should I send them the letter to stop all transaction. Since I've made arrangements to pay them by moneygram. PLEASE HELP ME!!! I don't want to go to jail I have 2 children and I don't want them to find out about all this. Not to mention that would probably push my husband over the edge and he will divorce me.

I received a letter from one of the 5 pdl stores telling me that my check had been returned as a closed account, and that if I didn't pay for it, they would be turning it over to collections. That very same day, the same store called and said that if I would pay as little as $5, that would take my name off the list for turning it over to an attorney. Don't fall for this type of tactic!!! The moment you make any kind of payment, the statute of limitations clock starts ALL OVER AGAIN!!! And, too, they are sure to realize that if you can't pay them, how would you pay an attorney too?! ESPECIALLY if your income is exempt funds. None of us in this forum intentionally put ourselves in this situation, although personal responsibility does plays a large part. I, for one, have learned my lesson, and after 6 years and many, many pdl's, feel that they've made enough money off of me already!!! Intentionlly getting a pdl with no intention of paying it back is indeed fraud in my book, but with us in this forum, that is NOT the case. We've simply found ourselves in a situation that we just don't have the money to pay!!!

They haven't sent me any letters by mail only phone calls and one letter by email. He also told me that I couldn't pay any amount. That pdls should be treated as a car payment or house payment and you can't just send them whatever amount you choose. I just haven't been able to send any money with it be so close to christmas and having two children to buy for. but after the holidays if I start sending them some money do you think that will keep them off my back. and I'm not paying $4100. on a 300. loan, that I've already sent them 100. on so I should owe them 200.+ the 90 finance fee. Thats all I'll will give them.

I called the bank about my closed account and they said that my account is indeed closed and no ach debit have caused it to reopen. But today I recieved another called from Mr. Mitchell at nationwidecash after in sent the c&d letter. He's the olny one calling me right now. Should I return his phone calls? or just ignore him I don't want him to keep calling my job it might cause me to get fired.

I recieved an email from instantcash911 stating that my loan is paid in full (I haven't paid them anything else on it since November). And then the next day I recived another email stating that I owe them money, so what should I do. I kept a copy of both emails.
