I got a call from nationwide cash today. They are illegal in the state of Washington.
The lady asked me if I had any reasonable resolution to offer.
I told her that their loan was illegal in the state of Washington & that any further contact would have to be in writing. She said that I came to them in Delaware they didnt come to me.
She called back and said they were sending their local "affiliates" in Washington to my place of employment
What now???

She is full of HOT AIR. No one will be showing up at your place of employment. If you have researched and found them to be ILLEGAL according to your state law, then you pay the principal amount owed. Please check with your DFI on their licensing in your state. How much have you borrowed and have you paid anything towards them as of yet?

P.S.
Please be aware NationWideCash is LEGAL and licensed to lend.

Yes, i have paid more than the principal amount.
and yes I have already checked, they are not licensed in WA
I checked both of their names nationwide cash & ambassador,
she even said when I asked are you licensed in the state of WA. she said no... in Delaware, but you came to us.
Washington state laws says no internet lending allowed unless u have a small loan endoresement. (which they dont)

I really didnt think any affiliates will be coming, but thought I would ask from others experience. She said they would be here in just a few minutes. I just said ok. bye and then hung up

They just wont give up. After the Threat for the "affiliates" to come to my place of employment (which never happened) I get another call at work today. Again I told them, that they need to quit calling me at work & that since they are not licensed in the State of Washington, I have paid back the principal amount owed, and any further correspondence would have to be thru email or mail. Dave started yelling, no you listen to me, so I hung up. I got an email about an hour later....... here it is.

Because you cant have a civil conversation, as I was trying to explain to our company is licensed in the state of Delaware.

That is where you took the loan out from we didn???t come to you, you came to us over the internet not once but twice this is your second loan with us. Did you think our company would just hand over 500.00 and not expect to get it per the contract you e signed. As a lender we do have the right to contact your bank and give them a copy of the bank authorization document which states in it we are authorized to debit your account and they will have no choice but to release the payments to us in full in the amount of $ 1,417.50.

We have your loan documents from the first loan and your new one. Do you know what is funny how you had no problem paying off the first loan and now all of a sudden you tell me we are illegal in your state tell who ever gave you that information tell them to check again. I will also be looking into you states check bouncing laws because a return on an ACH debit is just like bouncing a check.

It would be to your best interest to get in contact with our company by phone and set up an arrangement.
if you don???t want to speak with me you can ask for the compliance manager.

877-711-1199 ext 105 Mr. Blake

they are driving me crazy

Don't let it get to you, that is exactly what they want! If they call, hang up immediately, don't respond to them in any way, they will eventually tire of talking to thin air. As far as the emails, as long as you know that you are following your state law I wouldn't let their threats scare you, because that's all it is, threats.
