Gobal Mediation

Payday loans that are over 3 years old and I am being threatened by a mediation firm called Global Mediation in California to be charged with breach of contract and fraudulent use of a check.

I am in NC and can find no information on this company or the number 877-847-4302.

First some lady whose name was said so fast I could not put a word in edgewise calls and says she is with some locator service that has been hired by Global to locate me and that charges have been filed against me. She gives me the number above to call and I do so.

I call the number go through the case number routine and some guy named Anthony tells me that I have n outstanding loan which has been given to them to mediate. He tells me I have to choices of settle or be charged with the above. I asked for information on the loan and also the full name of his company. All I got was the loan was through SSM and Bahama Marketing Group for a total due now of over $700.

Myself I think it is some of the old you will be going to jail routine if you do not pay up. I told them to sue and I would see them in court and that the matter of fraud was upon them. They placed the money in my account without me giving consent or signing any documents. Over the years they have called as numerous collection people and I always dispute the accusations and ask for proof in the form of documents. I have yet to receive any documents.

What gets me about the phone call today is the first lady says I have been charged then Anthony says I have 2 choices that no charges are filed yet. Then another guy calls and says the charges have already been taken out and would I like to settle.

I informed him that in NC once a charge is filed it must go to court. I also informed him I would be seeking charges against whoever shows up to represent them in the form of fraud for putting unauthorized money into my account then trying to collect.

He did say the locator would be bringing the documents by the house to serve me. I informed him that fruad is a criminal offense and the sheriff would have to serve that paper.

So do you think my thoughts that this is the old charge you with fraud and pt you in jail or pay scheme or could they be serious. I say option A.
