Spotloan in N.C.

I know that payday loans are illegal in N.C.
I’m not sure about tribal loans which is what Spotloan claims they are. I just received a call today stating a courier would be serving me this upcoming Monday.
Is there anything that I can do at this point?

Please help!!


They are illegal. They can't serve you since they are illegal. So you can eat burgers, relax, and be merry. You can of course revoke the ACH authorization, and that too asap. Don't pay a dime. These are false threats. Rather, you can take legal action against them.

Well, they are not legal lenders. They are trying to scare you. If you have paid the principal amount, then relax. If they irritate you, then make a complaint against them to your State's Attorney general.

Please don't take out a loan from illegal lenders in the future.

What is your actual loan amount? Make sure you pay only the principal money, nothing more. Revoke your ACH asap,
Inform Your Employer about the Illegal Lender. Ask your human resources department to ignore any request from your lender, related to your salary..
