Thank you for the advice on the other posting. I need a little clarification, I suppose. I'm starting with the loans to PlainGreen. I need to know whether I've paid the principal or not, since I re-loaned, not sure how that works.

Husband:
11/14/11 800.00 made 4 payments of 124.49, totaling 497.96. on 1/20, paid off with payment of 806.20
1-25-12 reloaned 800.00. 4 payments of 129.75, totaling 519.00.

Myself:

11/8 loaned 700.00 made 2 payments of 108.02, totaling 216.04. On 12/8, paid off with payment of 683.56.
12/13 loan 800. 3 paymentss of 129.75 totaling 389.25. paid off 852.62 on 2/8.
2/13 loan 800.00. made 4 payments of 124.49, totalling 497.96.

So, I guess my question is, do I owe them anything, or am I considered paid since I did those payoffs.

Please know I appreciate any help. this is so sickening to me that we got into this mess!

Here is how I did it when I wrote my letter to state that my loan was paid in full and asked for a refund. I totaled all deposits into my account and subtracted all the payments that were deducted from acct to include the times that I paid them off. So by my calculations....your husband over paid by $223.16 and you overpaid by 339.43. They owe you a refund if they are illegal in your state. I have received to paid in full notices and both of them I have had multiple loans with. I doubt I will ever get a refund even though I believe they owe me money....but I will be more than happy just to make sure I never have to pay these loans again.

Hope this helps.

I received email today from Plain Green after having sent the email to stop ach and ask for a refund.
They respond, basically, that because the loan was made by an arm of a sovereign indian nation are not subject to state law, they are governed by the laws of the chippewa-cree, and that this is not a payday loan.

they are offering me a repayment plan of the principal, which, of course I don't want to pay. Should I just reply to the email again asking that a refund be sent, or do I ignore it.

Thanks again for all the help.
