Too many PDL Loans

deb, we've all learned from our "experience". Call it a lesson learned the hard way. But that's why we're all here. We can help each other out and one day we will all be free of the pdl's! So, we'll be eating tuna fish (yuck) and cashing in our pennies. We'll be doing it together! :D

I made my first payment to T&C this morning - and have contacted all the pdl people and told them they were now authorized to take money from my account, call me at work or send anything to my house or job - if they wanted to contact me via email or cell - (I am real lucky that my cell has a 718 area code) or better yet call T&C as that is what I am paying them to do...I have another one - but I don't know the name and I am sure once they realize the acccount is closed they will contact me. Lets see what happans -

deb, yes, just refer them on to T&C. Give them their information and hang up the telephone. That's what you're paying T&C for. They can take care of it for you. And, yes, your "mysterious" pdl will eventually pop up and contact you! :D

The first thing I did was closed my bank account and reopened with another bank - I have it all in writing that it was closed - but after reading all the post about accounts being forced open - I doubled checked witht the bank and told them that I was missing a book of checks and I was afraid they got tossed out - I was then put through to the fraud unit and explained the situation and she told me that the accout is closed and it could not be forced open with a check - I said what about if someone had the routing info and went through another way - she said not to worry nothing can get through. Plus by speaking to the fraud unit - they moniter the accoutns for a while - so its another step

Deb, You have come so far, and have akready accomplished so much. Horray for you

deb, good job with your bank! You can never ask too many questions! And your postings regarding this will help people understand that you CAN pester your bank and make sure your "old" account won't come back to haunt you! :D

This site has made me fill so good about things and that I can get on with living and I can't wait to get paid and have money. If can help anyone who has read my post - then it was all worth it - I was so glad I found this site... and will tell everyone about it...

I got paid today and it was the first time I did not panic when I checked the bank today - It felt wonderful to have it all there - now I can get really pay my bills...

debs-That will be my next check on 9/15! I cant wait!

deb, congratulations! Were you not amazed that you have a full paycheck? It's actually kind of sad when you think about how long you've suffered. I'm so very happy for you.

deb, you are on your way, my friend! Thank goodness! I know it's still hard, but at least now you're actually paying your REAL bills again! I'm so happy for you. You got to actually get a paycheck and pay some real bills. Thank goodness. If you need ANYTHING, just post to us! :D
