Night all!
Has anyone had any trouble recently with illegal PDL'S getting into their new acct? I saw some older posts from 2007 but am wondering if this is still a problem. I am getting ready to open up a new acct at a totally different bank and I want to be prepared and have all my bases covered.
Thanks!
Kooky

As long as you don't give out your new bank info to anyone the pdls will not be able to get it. This question has been asked in the banking section and those knowledgable have said they have never seen a case where a pdl got the new info unless someone gave out thier info.

There have been several postings of people applying for a new pdl sometimes even years later and having the account emptied but I have'nt seen anyone post that has happened to that did'nt apply for a new pdl.

Hopefully you wouldn't be applying for another PDL; however, if you do, lots of these companies share information with each other and they could get new bank information that way. You also might get some e-mails from PDls' saying you've been such a great customer they want to give you more money; how's that for an extremely transparent way to try to get your new bank information? :)
