phone scam

I have been receiving phone calls on my cel and at work from a sam mathew at All american services claiming that there is a lawsuit filed against my soc sec number and that if I don't return his call today they will take legal action. I have looked them up on the internet and am pretty sure it is a scam, although I am drowning in debt all of my accounts are current and have been. I did call the company back and they didn't even answer the phone with a company name. Also, mr matthew was not currently in even though he had just recently called. The number he calls from is a New York number 718- 873-9114 and the number he leaves to call back is 315-663-2862. Has anyone heard of this company? I can't understand him when he says what company this is in regards to so I can't look them up.

It's a SCAM!!!! They are probably calling you from somewhere in Asia, so you are not understanding their heavy accents. You can file a case against them with your local police authority and ask your phone service provider if they can block this number.

I'm sure that this Sam Matthews have a heavy accent. This junk debt buyers buy old accounts and then start harassing. And one more thing, they use words like 'legal' and 'federal' in their names..LOL!!!!!
