I really don't remember as I have gone thru a lot of personal issues in this past year.
I just want documention and they refuse to send it....they just keep calling me and telling me that I can explain it to the judge and for me to get an atty.
I went back and checked my accounts for a deposit and was unable to find one from them. Help.

You ever take out or apply for a Pay Day loan online? If so, which company? Did you provide your account numbers/SS number/personal information to that service?
If you live and applied in NY, pay day loans are illegal, and non-enforceable in NY. Also, you are talking to a 3rd party collector, and they have to verify/validate the debt upon request. If they lead off with "we're suing you, explain it to the judge", and won't validate, then not only do you probably not owe, but you can probably sue THEM for harrassment.
Next time they call, ask for a name and address of the company they work for, and ask them to send you verification/validation that the debt is yours. If they won't or can't, me thinks you have nothing to worry about. Per chance did this person have a heavy foreign accent? If so...I wouldn't even bother with them...just hang up.
