pay day loans

I live in new york. i took out eight payday loans and i have since discovered that they are illegal in my state. I have no problem paying back the amount borrowed but i dont think i should have to pay the finance and renewal fees. Any help would be appreciated.

If you haven't already done so you need to close your bank account. You then need to figure up how much you've paid each of them to know how much you have left to pay. From there it's pretty easy. At least it was for me and I had too many that I'm willing to admit to.
