I am currently in negotiations with a nice settlement offer from Cash Call. I of course originated a loan with Western Sky, but it then got transferred to Cash Call. I have not paid any amount in a while due to trying to get things settled. I have paid towards the loan, just not since about December. They finally stated that they would be able to work out an agreement with me where I pay a little above my remaining principal balance. The letter I got today states that I have to pay my first payment on the 27th. I just sent them an email seeing if I can get that extended as I don't have a payday until the 3rd of August. The reason I am wanting to finally accept this, is because they sent me a separate letter stating my account will be charged off on july 31st and transferred to a collections department. I don't want that too happen. I am wondering if maybe they would respond with an extension to make payments, and if you think I could get the settlement to meet exactly what my remaining principal balance is. I really have a remaining principal of 1810, and there payment arrangements would have me paying 2331.63, yet they state it would be a savings of 10, 330.15. I was just wanting to get any thoughts of the people from this community
Thanks!!

The point of the matter is that the loan is illegal. That puts the ball in your court. You pay on your own terms and at your own convenience. So to make a long story short, you pay the remaining principal and not a cent more in installments that suit your pocket and your paycheck. Simple as that.
