OK - so a few of the lenders threw up the white flag and surrendered. I got a call from US Fast Cash today telling me they never received my letter (BS) and that I owe them $390 but they will settle for $312. I told the rep that payday lending is illegal in NJ and she kept saying over and over that I took the loan on line. I told her the Law of NJ prevail but she kept saying that over and over. Anyone have any thoughts n this? Does it matter that they were on line loans? I would think that if this place does not have a license in NJ, whether on line or not, they can't lend? Especially at 400% interest.

I would listen to Soap Lady! There is nothing they can do but waste your time talking alot of nothing on the phone! Just resend the letter and let them blow smoke. They will tell you that they don't have to follow any laws or their laws prevail its a bunch of crap this state's laws prevail!
