How do I find out if online PDLs are legal in Texas? I have 8 that I am no longer able to keep paying on. What is my best plan of action to get this resolved?

The internet loans are with:
CashNet USA - $850; paid 649.74
Purpose Cash - $500
AmeriLoan - $500
United Cash Loans - $500
IPL/Integrity - $300
Net Cash 123 - $500
Hydra Financial Limited Fund III (in New Zealand) - $250
Vandelier Group LLC - $250

Store Front loan with:
Cash Store - original amount $940, but I have refinanced 2 times, and was paying $260 every 2 weeks, with nothing coming off the principal that I can tell.
This one has me worried - my most recent payment was due on Monday 9/17 and I have not heard a word from them. Every time my payment date was approaching in the past, they called me 3-4 time a day on both my home and cell phone for at least 2 days before the payment was due to remind me to come in. Do store front pdl places have tougher enforcement procedures than online ones? As I said, it's just strange that they haven't called about the missed payment; that has me worried.

I don't know how much I have paid to others besides CashNet USA because I closed my checking account last week before all the payments hit because I finally realized my paycheck wouldn't even cover the amounts due. I have requested bank statements from my former bank, so once I get those I will be able to tell how much was debited by each company.

Like many people on here, I got on the never-ending PDL cycle and took out additional loans just to pay on the existing loans and to cover (barely) my living expenses. Can you help me get out from under this mess? Anything you can do is greatly appreciated!

i don't know about the online loans, but i can tell you probably about the cash store. they have an internal collections department that will contact you when the check is returned NSF. when you don't come in to make your payment they first attempt a electronic debit from your account in the amount of your expected payment. if that's unsuccessful they attempt to debit the full loan balance - don't ask me why they try to take out the full amount if the partial doesn't go through, makes no sense to me but that's what they do. you'll definitely be hearing from them, but it's better to try to be proactive and contact the manager of your local branch to work out a payment schedule you can afford.

What can I expect from Cash Store and CashNetUSA in terms of EPP? Will I have to continue paying the fees and interest or will that be reduced? I've read about a 4-payment plan on here, but I need more time - is that possible? Any info you can give me before I place the calls would be helpful.

Thanks for the info.

The local Cash Store manager began calling me this morning. She has called my home phone 3 times and my cell twice. Is it better to deal with the corp office on this or should I deal with her locally?

CashNetUSA called me repeatedly yesterday afternoon/evening and said I had until 11 p.m. to respond. I did not respond; I wanted to wait until I have all the info I need to deal with them. No phone calls this morning, but I received this email:

Dear -------------------------,

You have received one or more cash advances from us which are
currently past due for payment.

Does this mean they are only asking a total of $216.81 or is that just a payment? I have paid 3 payments of $216.58 ($649.74) on a $850 loan.

Thanks! Your input has been extremely beneficial so far.

Someone keeps calling me today and leaving messages, saying they are from e-finance and need to talk with me about a very important matter. I googled the number they left (also on caller ID) and it comes up as VIP Loan Shop, SJM Marketing, My Next Day Cash, Everett Cash Management, etc. Does anyone know who this is? I don't have any of these pdl names on my list of loans.

When I did a CSO search for CashNet USA in Texas, here's what comes up for CashNet USA:
Cashnet USA CSO, LLC # 1
Contact: David Shorr
Location: 11 N Skokie Hwy Ste 300, Lake Bluff, IL 60044
Mailing Address: 11 N Skokie Hwy Ste 300 Lake Bluff, IL 60044
File Number: 20060010
Status: Bond Cancelled
Expires: 3/14/2007
Account Bond: S902-5647
Surety Company: WASHINGTON INTL INS CO
Additional Locations: 0
I am not coming up with anything else for CashNet USA on the CSO site nor the Office of Consumer Credit Commissioner site. Does this mean that they are no longer considered legal in Texas? If not, what does this mean?
Thanks!
